If you’ve heard of places like Stuttgart, Mannheim and Heidelberg, or considered an adventure in the Black Forest, Lake Constance or the lovely Tauber Valley, you might be surprised to learn that all these places are found in Baden-Wurttemberg, a region fondly known as Germany’s Sunny South West. It also happens to be the home of Europa-Park, recently voted the best theme park in all of Europe. Throw in a UNESCO world heritage site, castles and museums, an opportunity to shop ‘til you drop, or wine and dine to your heart’s content and you’re pretty much set for the holiday of a lifetime. And to tempt you even more, all this is just a short flight from London Stansted to Stuttgart Airport with Germanwings.
