Insight IAPT provide NHS talking therapies in the East Midlands, Kent & Medway, Bassetlaw, Peterborough, the Wirral, Teesside, and Newcastle.
Talking therapies services accept self-referrals, as well as from GPs and other health professionals, and can offer help to anyone struggling with common mental health problems such as: anxiety, depression and low mood, phobias, insomnia, stress, OCD, trauma, bereavement and loss, body dysmorphia and eating disorders.
This campaign is running on beer mats in pubs across Mansfield and Sutton-in-Ashfield. The beer mats feature a number of creative executions such as “Is your glass looking half empty these days?”. “Something playing on your mind?” or “1 in 5 people have suicidal thoughts.” The mats raise awareness for a range of mental health symptoms and encourage people to check in on their friends who may be struggling with their mental health.
The beer mats reach people in pubs when they are sat at tables consuming alcohol, a well-known trigger for mental health issues. Whether socialising in groups or drinking alone, the beer mats draw attention to the tell-tale signs that someone may be struggling with their mental health and offer help, support and advice which can be accessed as easily as scanning the QR code on the mats.
