Marie Curie provides care and support to anyone living with a terminal illness in the UK, as well as their families. The charity has over 2,000 nurses offering support at home in areas all over the country, as well 9 hospices providing around the clock expert care. There are also Helper volunteers that give up their time to visit people living at home to offer vital companionship, emotional support and practical help with everyday tasks. If that isn’t enough, Marie Curie campaigns to ensure that those who need it have access to high quality care and support. They are also a leader in researching better ways to offer care and support which in turn gets fed into the outstanding service they provide each year.
To promote a new helpline, Marie Curie is using Pharmacy Bags to spread the word to those in need of support, whether it’s someone suffering from a terminal illness, or family, friends and caregivers who are affected. Targeted in key cities across the country, as well as in areas where Marie Curie have hospices, the campaign is running across 125 Pharmacies from 22nd June for 4 weeks. Advertising in Pharmacies is an ideal way to get a sensitive message across when consumers are actively thinking about their health or that of their loved ones.
The campaign was planned and booked by UM London and Rapport Worldwide.
