The Coffee Cups encourage people to download the Northern trains app, made simple by the handy QR code, which allows them to save up to 65% on advance ticket purchases and even purchase cheaper tickets up to 15 minutes before travel. Perfect for those spontaneous journeys we all occasionally need to make.
Getting tickets straight to your phone simplifies the purchase process and aims to reduce the number of ticketless journeys made on the network.
Targeted in proximity to 91 stations across the Northern Rail network the branded cups are running for 4 weeks including the key travel periods over Easter and the May Day bank holiday.
