Students are far too busy recovering from parties, late night essay writing and last-minute cramming for tests to worry about the hassle of cooking and cleaning. Great minds are at work after all!  And great minds need sustenance of course.  Toast might be cheap and easy, but let’s face it fresh bread doesn’t last and creating a fresh toasty treat requires actual effort and a trek to the shops.  Oh no, there is another food group, in fact the holy grail of all student food groups, a mighty tub of noodle-y delight that satisfies all manner of student cravings!  No need to venture further than the kitchen cupboard and have access to a kettle… a simple pour of boiling water into a handy tub that brings to life oodles of noodle-y delight and hey presto, it’s Pot Noodle to the rescue!

Not only does Unilever understand that Pot Noodle is the way to every student’s heart, they have gone above and beyond the call of duty to give students an opportunity to kick-start their success offering the chance to win £1,000 every day, for 60 days. All they have to do is pick up a promotional Pot Noodle Kingsize pack, peel back the lid and enter a unique code online.  Easy-peasy.  Not that students ever needed incentive to stock up on their favourite noodle-y snack.  But this will certainly get students upsizing on that grocery shop for the next 60 days.  Go Big or Go Home!

Unilever are promoting the competition with a national campaign on Tablewrap in Student Unions from the 29th of February for 4 weeks.  As Student Unions are a key food and beverage space on campus, it makes perfect sense to use Tablewrap to reach students who are likely to be sitting around the table, actively eating or thinking about food.  This is the second campaign by Unilever recently as they ran similar activity to support Marmite with Tablewrap in Student Unions over Freshers in September last year too.

The campaign was planned and booked by Mindshare and Kinetic Worldwide.
