Well, well, well.  Fish and Chips are by far the nation’s favourite nosh so it shouldn’t really come as a surprise that brands seem to be lining up to take advantage of such a fun, creative advertising environment.  We had Sarsons Vinegar support National Chip Week with branded bags and sampling in February, The Eden Project have just gone live with more branded bags to reach holidaymakers in the South West, and now it’s the RNLI taking our chippies by storm.

The RNLI are keen to raise awareness about the danger of rip tides as part of their ‘Respect the Water’ campaign.  They are also using Chip Wraps, a new product, which suits consumers who grab their chips in a cone to munch on the promenade or on the beach.  The focus for their campaign is on Clacton and Newquay, both busy beach destinations where the RNLI are keen to warn locals and holidaymakers not to underestimate the power of the seas.

The campaign was planned and booked by OMD and Talon Outdoor.
