We keep hearing that high street retail is booming and recent research showed that 58% of people now plan to visit a coffee shop as part of their trip to the high street.  With this in mind, Zalando (a premium online fashion retailer) identified coffee shops as a great opportunity to gain a high street presence and to become a consideration amongst busy shoppers.

Zalando is one of the biggest fashion retailers in Germany but in lesser known in the UK market so their challenge is to build awareness of their brand amongst ABC1’s in the UK whilst driving online sales.  In order to help them achieve this, we created a partnership with 40 coffee shops.  Using branded coffee sleeves and A6 leaflets we were able to ensure that customers in all 40 outlets would be picking up their coffee in a branded Zalando cup (which would be taken out on to the high street, back to the office etc) and handed a specific £10 off flyer to take away with them, driving business online.  A great way to build their brand amongst this audience, interrupt the high street shopper and drive business online.
